Top Venues for a destination wedding in barcelona & Girona (Part 1 )
Hi, my name is Robert and I've been a wedding photographer for over 19 years...I know...it's been a long time coming, but believe me, it's the best job in the world.
I know that many couples who live outside Spain but want to celebrate their weddings in Barcelona or Girona, it is not easy to know all the venues for weddings that are available. It's crazy, even I don't know them all. Barcelona and Girona have become a perfect place to celebrate weddings, because of its climate, the sea, mountains, easy transportation and an infinity of wedding suppliers of the highest quality.
Today i’m going to talk about some of them that I know because I have worked taking wedding pictures in those places, and some others that I have not taken pictures, but I know them and I recommend them to you too.

It is one of those classic places, with a lot of charm that you will love. It is like a castle, with large gardens, views that will take your breath away. It is a place for weddings with a lot of style, and you can give it a lot of personality with your ideas. It can be all outdoors, but if it rains...the plan B inside the castle is just as incredible as the outside.

The hotel Castell d'empoda, is an incredible place, surrounded by incredible views of l'emporda, a region of Girona, surrounded by mountains, Mediterranean sea and villages with typical Catalan stone houses incredibly beautiful.
The hotel, a small castle, modernized with perfect rooms for rest and relaxation beyond any doubt. Two incredible swimming pools that will make you forget any stress.
surrounded by centenary olive trees and the gardens and surroundings are perfect to celebrate a wedding and that all your guests, enjoy and do not forget their stay.

Almiral de la font is a typical Catalan farmhouse, just outside Sitges, very close to the small village of Sant Pere de Ribes.
The communication from Barcelona is very easy to reach, it has enough rooms to accommodate your guests and spend a few days together before and after the wedding with unforgettable moments.
The sea views, surrounded by mountains and vineyards, make it a perfect place.

The pool is something that will drive your guests crazy, and with unobstructed views and secluded, makes the perfect place to celebrate your wedding. It is perfect for intimate weddings or weddings of no more than 80 guests.
